Carmela (D'Angelo) DiRienzo Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carmela (D'Angelo) DiRienzo (Ottawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Carmela departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carmela may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carmela leaves behind.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
