She is survived by: her husband Ivan; her sons, Robert (Brenda) of Colorado and Scott of Campbell River, BC.; and her sisters, Sandra of Maple Ridge, BC and Margaret of Sudbury, Ontario.. She is also survived by many nephews, relatives and friends.

“My deepest condolences to Ivan and family. Carol was a wonderful extension to our family; she was our kids' "Ottawa Grandmother". I enjoyed the times we spent together (and the many desserts she baked for us.) Much as I thought when my own grandmother passed, I console myself with the hope that Carol has moved on to a place where her physical ailments won't trouble her any longer. We will all miss her.”
