It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlie Mayor (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 15, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Charlie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Charlie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She is survived by: her parents, Jen Mayor and John Kevin Mayor; her stepparents, Pierre and Christine; her brother Kaiden; and her stepsiblings, Devin, Brooke, Evan and Braden. She is also survived by her grandparents and her abundantly loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shields Funeral Homes & Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlie's memory may be made to CHEO (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario) or to a mental health or suicide prevention organization of your choice, to support youth and families impacted by mental health struggles.
