Chehade Khouri Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Chehade Khouri (Ottawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 26, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Halim Khouri and Henaine Khouri; his wife Georgette Khouri (Hajale); and his siblings, Afifi and Georges (Mahiba).
He is survived by: his siblings, Jamil (late Renee), Alia (Emile BouMalhab) and Elias (Mary); his children, Bechara (Laurine), Basil (Lina), John (Barbara) and Halim (Malyka); his grandchildren, Charlie, Khristian, Jackson, Jameson, Dorrian, Christiana, Hannah, Andrea, Samuel, Michel and Mark; and his great grandchildren, Selene, Calla and Capri. He is also survived by his in-laws, many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saints Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church (1161 N River Rd, Ottawa, ON K1K2C8).
In lieu of flowers a donation to Saints Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church would be appreciated.
