It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Elizabeth Laronde (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Norman Rutter III of Ottawa and Jannette Bell (Provan) of Ottawa; and her siblings, Donald William of Ottawa, Deborah Teeter and Sandra Gott.
She is survived by: her husband David John Laronde of Ottawa; her children, Dawne Valerie of Ottawa and Philip David (Patricia) of Ottawa; her siblings, Linda Morrison and Roger Burden; her nieces, Denise and Heather Morrison; her nephew Michael Gott; and her close friend Joan Johnston.
