It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Elizabeth Laronde (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Norman Rutter III of Ottawa and Jannette Bell (Provan) of Ottawa; and her siblings, Donald William of Ottawa, Deborah Teeter and Sandra Gott.
She is survived by: her husband David John Laronde of Ottawa; her children, Dawne Valerie of Ottawa and Philip David (Patricia) of Ottawa; her siblings, Linda Morrison and Roger Burden; her siblings' children, Denise, Heather Morrison and Michael Gott; and her close friend Joan Johnston.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Tubman Funeral Homes - Garden Chapel (3440 Richmond Rd, Nepean, ON K2H8H7). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9).
