He is survived by: his sons, David (Gillian) and Andrew (Anmarie); his grandsons, Christopher, Thomas and Nicholas; and his former wife Mavis Harris.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ottawa Seventh-Day Adventist Church (2200 Benjamin Ave, Ottawa, ON K2A1P5). A reception was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.

After Christie moved to England, Enid joined him and their siblings. Enid fondly recalled their happy motorbike trips around Cheltenham and beyond. They later reunited in Canada, travelling together as in this photo taken in Prince Edward Island. Chris remained close to Enid and will be deeply missed by our family.”
