For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leila Chong and Christopher Chong. He is survived by: his wife Bibi Linda Chong; his stepson Jonathan (Maggie); and his stepgrandchildren, Jaxon and Jayden. He is also survived by his five sisters and one brother, as well as his extended family including three brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Shields Funeral Homes & Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Church (3092 Innes Rd, Ottawa, ON K1W1C8). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C1M5).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Villa Marconi Centre, in honor of Christopher's generous and caring spirit.
