He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile Gour and Amanda Gour; and his siblings, Frank (Marty), Donald (Noella), Aileen (Anthony), Rita (Tony) and Jenny (Jacques).

He is survived by: his wife Elise; his son Marc; his daughter-in-law Barbara; his grandchildren, Matthew and Amanda; and his sister Carmen (George). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
