He is survived by : his wife Lois; his children, Allison (Wayne) and Jason (Amy); his granddaughters, Olivia, Molly and Keira; his sisters, Sharon (Dennis), Marilyn (late Lou), Carol (Brian) and Diane (Russ); and his siblings-in-law, Helen (John), Doris (Garry), John (late Debbie) and Darlene (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
