David Michael Maki Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Michael Maki (Ottawa, Ontario), born in Whitewood, Saskatchewan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eino Maki and Myra Maki; and his sisters, Karen Tverkutes and Linda Maki. He is survived by: his wife Susie Miller; his child Dean Maki (Kyla Arden); his grandchildren, Kallia and Senna; his siblings, Judy Johnstone (Bill Tverkutes) and Perry Erhardt (Carmelita Agdomar); his family, Dr. Elizabeth Sawyers and Drs; and his caregivers, Shay Allen, Rae Bradford and Susie. He is also survived by her many uncles, aunts and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Carleton Heights Community Centre (1665 Apeldoorn Ave, Ottawa, ON K2C1V6).
