She was predeceased by: her siblings, Françoise (Gaëtan), Jeannine (Felix), André (Lise) and Lucien; her brother-in-law John; and her nieces, Lucie and Nicole.
She is survived by: her husband Peter; her sons, Jean-Philippe and Eric (Émilie); her grandchildren, Sofia, Matthew, Nicholas and Eva; her siblings-in-law, Maxine and Wilfred (Donna); and her sibling's children, Suzanne, François, Andrée, Louise, Gaston, Sylvie, Tara, Stephen, Cindy, Chris, Nichole and Jennifer. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Thomas Church (1619 Stittsville Main St, Ottawa, ON K2S1R3).
In lieu of flowers, she requested that donations be made in Denise's memory to organizations such as Alongside Hope (formerly called Primates World Relief and Development Fund), Doctors Without Borders, Canadian Foodgrains Bank, code.ngo and other charities like them that have a 5 star rating in https://www.charityintelligence.ca.
