She was predeceased by: her siblings, Françoise (Gaëtan), Jeannine (Felix), André (Lise) and Lucien; her brother-in-law John; and her nieces, Lucie and Nicole.
She is survived by: her husband Peter; her sons, Jean-Philippe and Eric (Émilie); her grandchildren, Sofia, Matthew, Nicholas and Eva; her siblings-in-law, Maxine and Wilfred (Donna); and her nieces and nephews, Suzanne, François, Andrée, Louise, Gaston, Sylvie, Tara, Stephen, Cindy, Chris, Nichole and Jennifer. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, she requested that donations be made in Denise's memory to organizations such as Alongside Hope (formerly called Primates World Relief and Development Fund), Doctors Without Borders, Canadian Foodgrains Bank, code.ngo and other charities like them that have a 5 star rating in https://www.charityintelligence.ca.
