Donald William Garrett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald William Garrett (Ottawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Jay; and his parents, Jack Garrett and Joan Garrett. He is survived by: his sons, Steven Garrett (Luc Claveau) and Matthew Garrett (Amy); his grandchildren, Marin and Flora Garrett; his sisters, Deborah Brooks (late Brian) and Elizabeth O'Brien (Greg); his siblings-in-law, Robert Turner (Tammy) and Jan Turner; and his siblings' children, Leila, Grady, Spencer, Conner, David, Michael, Geoffrey and Christopher. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes (3440 Richmond Rd, Nepean, ON K2H8H7).
