The memory of Doreen Marie Slingerland (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on January 25, 2026 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Slingerland; and her brother William Gorr. She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Verner (Rob), Joyce Slingerland (Richard Tiberius), Cally Martin (Roger) and Fran Slingerland (John Scholberg); her grandchildren, Jessica, Robert, Christopher, Kiry, Simon and Jules; and her sisters, Joan Gorr, Sally Borgman and Lynn Umpherson. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
