He was predeceased by: his mother Felisa; and his former wife Christine Hernandez (Fabros). He is survived by: his wife Maria Cielo Hernandez (Bernardo); his daughters, Monica (Nicholas), Katrina (Samuel) and Isabel; his grandchildren, Caleb, Ella and Samina; his siblings, Jon (Mary) and Mercedes (Karl); and his father Anatolio.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Complex (1250 Trim Rd, Orléans, ON K4A 3P7). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Divine Infant Parish (6658 Bilberry Dr, Orléans, ON K1C2S9).
