Edith (Coyle) Cuddihey Obituary

We bid farewell to Edith (Coyle) Cuddihey (Ottawa, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 18, 2025 at the age of 92. Edith touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Cuddihey; her parents, John Coyle and Jane (Jennie); and her siblings, Joe, Mary, Clarence, Helen (Nelson McLaughlin), Lima (Jack Plunkett), Anthony, Maureen (Gerald Murray), Jack (Helen Hayes), Eileen (Raymond McLaughlin) and George Canning.

She is survived by: her children, Alden (Sue Dupont), Karen (Robert Brown) and John; and her brother-in-law Lorne Cuddihey. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and her many, many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Shields Funeral Homes & Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (153 Woodroffe Ave, Ottawa, ON K2A3T8).
