In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to the Ottawa Heart Institute in his name.

“Thinking of Uncle Ed, Aunt Barb and cousin Craig during this difficult time. I didn't get to spend much time with Ed in my teens and adult life, as I've been living in Nova Scotia since the late 90s. But I will always remember his grounded, fatherly presence and generosity from my visits. He taught me to have discernment and gratitude. He showed immense resilience living with chronic illness for decades, but deciding to make the most of life despite this. He was a good man and I know his kindness and wisdom touched a lot of people's heart. RIP Uncle Ed ❤️‍🩹”
