With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Egils Mierins (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on March 20, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Janis Melita and Hilda Melita; and his sibling Arnis (Colleen) of Ottawa. He is survived by: his close friend Kathryn McLaren; his children, Jamey (Tonya), Kathryn and Krystina (Joseph); his grandchildren, Freya and Fiametta; his brother John (Renate) of Ottawa; his niece Lisa; and his nephews, Jeff, John and Arnie.
