She was predeceased by: her siblings, Albert Hooper (Dorothy) and June Hooper; and her parents, Frank Hooper and Elizabeth Hooper. She is survived by: her husband David Cooney; her sons, Stephen and Brian Cooney (Cathy); her grandchildren, Allison, Émilie, Devin and Cloé; her brother-in-law Paul Cooney; her friend Sandra Elliott; and her caregiver Kathryn of W's Abigail.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
