It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor June Ayles (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on February 19, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Megan Ayles and Cameron Ayles; her aunts and uncles, Colin Ayles and Lauren Kenney (Vanin Ferrall); her great-grandparent Michael Ayles; and her cousins, Grey and Adaline Ferrall. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM. A vigil service was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & Mc (1200 Ogilvie Rd, Ottawa, ON K1J8V1). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Lord Roman Catholic Church (2414 Ogilvie Rd, Ottawa, ON K1J7N5). A burial was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Ave., Vanier, ON K1L8A6).
