It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor Joan McGowan (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on June 23, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Ellen McGowan (Née Sims) and Patrick McGowan; her stepmother Violet (Née Horton); her siblings, Elizabeth (William Stevenson) and Brian; her sister-in-law Laure Lapointe; and her nieces and nephews, Linda, Michael, Paul, Melissa, Cindy, Megan, Erika, Nancy, Billy, Cheyenne, Cherokee, Shawnee and Jacob. She was also cherished by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to St. Patrick's Basilica in Eleanor's memory would be greatly appreciated.
