She was predeceased by : her parents, Clyde Bond and Mildred Bond; her husband Robert Reid Swinimer; and her brothers, Murray and Kenny.

She is survived by : her children, Shelley (Henry), Nancy (late Joe), Ruth (William), Maryanne (late Barry), Daniel and David (Leida); and her sibling Jessie. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
