Elsie Leona (O'Hare) Lafontaine Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elsie Leona (O'Hare) Lafontaine (Ottawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leona O'Hare and Thomas O'Hare; and her siblings, Mary and Bernard "Bernie" O'Hare. She is survived by: her husband Raymond "Ray" Lafontaine; her children, Sherry Lafontaine (Jon Gallant) and Steven Lafontaine; and her siblings, Carolyn Brault (Ronnie), Dorreen Corriveau (Fern), Elaine Stone (Larry), Gerard O'Hare and Bernadette Hogbin (late Brian).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kelly Funeral Home-Kanata Chapel (580 Eagleson Rd, Kanata, ON K2M1H4). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish (1489 Shea Rd, Stittsville, ON K2S0G8).
