He was predeceased by: his mother Liva Alfonsi; and his sister Giovanna. He is survived by: his father Luigi Urbani; his sister Rita; his brother-in-law Giorgio; his nieces, Jessica (Nathan) and Liliana; his great-niece Aryia; his cousins, Anna of Montreal, Gabriel of Morrisburg, Lina of Kingston, Marco of Casselman and Gianni of Kapuskasing; and his close friend Larry Saikaly.
