Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eugene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ambassador Jesus C. Alvaro and Iluminada G. Alvaro; his wife Kristine; his son Erik; and his siblings, Lysander (Charito), Abigail (Noel), Lily (Edward) and Jamile (Angel).
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9).
