It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Filomena (Vasconcelos) Tavares (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Antonio Vasconcelos; her spouse Eduino Tavares; and her son Antonio (Tony). She is survived by: her children, Anjos Viveiros (Eduardo), Maria Da Silva (Carlos), Gilberta Alberto (Nelson), Filomena Huneault (Julien), Victor, Carlos (Julie) and Ana Maria.
