He was predeceased by : his parents, Angéline Trottier and Hervé Trottier; and his siblings, Suzanne (Robert), Réal (Alice), Onil (late Louise), André (Marie-Ange) and Richard (Carmen).

He is survived by : his wife Jeannine; his daughters, Marthe (Gilles LeBlanc), Lucie (Roger Sévigny) and Suzanne (Daniel Bernier); his grandchildren, Daniel, Damien (Jody), Elizabeth (Matthew), Michel (Cara), Stéphanie (Matt) and Melissa (Phil); his great grandchildren, Kevin, Sarah, Chloé and Charlotte; and his siblings, Simon (Aline), Jean-Marc (Denise), Marie-Ange (late Guy) and Clément (Diane). He is also survived by His many sisters-in-law, brothers-in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
