Gabriel Dale Hill Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gabriel Dale Hill (Ottawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2025 at the age of 45. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gabriel departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gabriel. Though Gabriel may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Rosalie; the mother of his child Carole Goudreault; his parents, Wendy Dale and Bert Hill; and his siblings, Meredith Zyla (David), Jordan Dale Hill (Yaël Margalit) and Alanna Lacroix (Sean).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Ottawa School of Art (35 George St, Ottawa, ON K1N8W5).
In lieu of flowers, Gabe's family requests donations in his name to the Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health (https://www.theroyal.ca) and Hospice Care Ottawa who cared for Gabe in his times of need.
