She was predeceased by: her husband William Beattie; her son Trevor; her parents, William Richards and Margaret Richards; and her brothers, Keith and Billy.

She is survived by: her children, Garry (Marilyn), Glenn (Amy) and Cindy Poaps (Dan); her grandchildren, Anthony, Chad (Amanda), Ryan, Candace (Wes) and Stephen; her great grandchild Wyatt; and her siblings, Jean Richards and Brian Richards. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
