He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Pender and Adèle Pender; his wife Bernice (Kirk); and his brother Dr. Charles Pender. He is survived by: his sister Mary Rose; his children, Stephen (Suzanne Mulder), Geoff (Suzanne Nadon) and Andrew (Niki Karachalios); his grandchildren, Taylor (Connor), Tristan (Stéphanie), Liam, Tatiana, Sienna, Lauren and Jaxx; his great grandchildren, Lucy and Clark; and his caregivers, Charito, Maricel, Colon and Jeff. He is also survived by nieces, friends.
