It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Polowin (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Julian; his siblings, Hyman, Sheila, David, Ann, Chuck and Alex; and his parents, Bessie Polowin and Benjamin Polowin.
He is survived by: his wife Helen (Fizzy) Polowin; his children, Lesli Zanetti (Roger), Nancy Tencer and Linda Polowin; his grandchildren, Robyn and Lucas; his great grandchild Clifford; his sister Freda Grill; and his caregiver Liza of Carefor.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Jewish Memorial Gardens (2692 Bank St, Gloucester, ON K1T1M9).
