Gilbert Norman Miles Obituary

Peacefully with family by his side, Gilbert passed away in his 93rd year. Son of John and Rose Miles and brother of Dorothy and Donald (pre-deceased), devoted husband of 63 years to Noreen (nee Prosser), loving father to Jennifer (Robert Gadde), Joey, and Mathew, and proud Poppa to Nathan and Emma-Rose, he will be dearly missed. Gilbert retired from the Government Printing Bureau with 25 years of service and spent over 40 years as a foster parent for the Children's Aid Society. We are sincerely grateful for the care he received through The LHIN and while at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. A private burial will be held at the Notre Dame cemetery.
