He was predeceased by: his son Joseph Toneguzzo (Anne Toneguzzo); his parents, Joseph Toneguzzo and Luigia Toneguzzo; and his siblings, Berto, Lindo, Giuseppe, Aldo, Adele and Atilio Toneguzzo.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sacha Lacasse (Nancy St-Denis), Mark Toneguzzo (Paisley McNabb), Steven Toneguzzo (Tara Firchuk), Kaisa Lindfors, Teia Lindfors (Kaven Tremblay) and John Lindfors; and his great grandchild Clara Lacasse.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
