He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Brown and Dorothy (Findley); and his sibling Pat. He is survived by: his wife Eva Anne; his children, Terry and Sherry Bennett (Bob); his grandchildren, Meghan (late Scott), Erin (Mark), Kelly (Mcee), Mike (Ashley) and Jamie (Alicia); his great grandchildren, Hanna, Madison and Annora; and his brother Gordon (Wanda).
