He is survived by: his wife Margaret Carole Flake; his daughter Kimberly (Oleh); his grandchildren, Kristin and Alexander (Elaine); and his siblings, Vern Flake (Lois) and Helen Peterson. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
