He was predeceased by: his children, Stephen Smith and Wendy Kullberg; his parents, George Smith and Mary Smith; and his siblings, Marion, Rayma, Betty, Richard, Norman and Robert.
He is survived by: his son Gregory (Jane); his grandchildren, Jessica, Andrew, Christofer and Erik; and his great grandchildren, Harrison and Jamieson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
