Though Hazel may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Hazel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her daughter Yolande Pompey Robinson (Jamell Robinson); her grandchildren, Maya, Jamell Jr. and Jacob; and her siblings, Carlita Thompson, Gloria Ollivierre, Charles Jr. Thompson and Frank Thompson (Penny Thompson).
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glen Cairn United Church (140 Abbeyhill Dr, Kanata, ON K2L1H5). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
