She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lacosta and Mary Lacosta (Nee Hladun); and her daughter Leanne. She is survived by: her sisters, Brenda Gorman of Parksville, BC and Diana; her children, Patti, Mark and Greg; her grandchildren, Kaitlin, Natalie, Mentana, Matisse and Bronte; Nancy (Nee Boland).

She battled nobly with Alzheimer's for years and now she is truly resting in peace.
