He was predeceased by: his parents, Donat and Emilia (Deschamps); his grandson Jacob; and his siblings, Fernand, François, Raoul, Leopold, Alda, Thérèse and Horace.

He is survived by: his spouse Marion Elizabeth (Betty); his children, Maurice (Lise), Louise and Michelle (Scott); his grandchildren, Geneviève (Joey), Stéphanie (Patrick), Marc (Sara), Noah, Grace and Isaiah; and his great grandchildren, Nathan, Taylor, Riley, Jacob and Benjamin. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
