He was predeceased by: his wife Doreen Armstrong; his parents, Carl Robert Schroeder and Louisa Pauline Yach; and his siblings, Hertha (Wilbert Rueckwald) and Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Gaulin (Jacques), Jennifer Brennae (Peter) and David; his granddaughters, Alison and Emily; and his sister-in-law Doris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In Herb's memory, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
