With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Horace William Himbury (Ottawa, Ontario), born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on February 23, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Horace leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Chambers and Marie-Rose Himbury; and his brother Martin Francis Himbury. He is survived by: his wife Alice Himbury; his daughters, Karen Shepherd (Robert) and Heather Himbury (Michael); his grandson Spencer; his sister-in-law Diana; his nephew Darin Himbury (Marilyn); and his great-nephew Nicholas.
