It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Hines (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Howard Hines to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Hines and Grace Hines. He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his sister Marsha; his nephews, Shane and Jeff; his brother-in-law Earl (Roxanne) of Moose Jaw; his nieces and nephews, Lee (Sarah), Dallas (Jaime), Cody (Teresa), Zach (Alex), Lacey (Chris) and Cassidy (Nick); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Draven, Mackenzie, Nixon, Garrett, Bryce, Kayden, Grady, Sullivan and Poppy.

A celebration of Howard's life will be held at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 150 Woodroffe Ave. (at Richmond Road), Ottawa on Saturday December 11, 2021 at 1:00 p. m. Following Covid protocol, the family has requested that attendance be only available to those who are fully vaccinated.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be greatly appreciated.

As mentioned to you earlier, i have memories of Howie coming up to the Shawville area when he was a teenager, connecting with his Cousins Rick and Garry, and would always include the younger cousins, Judy ,John and I in the drives around Shawville. I am so happy that i was able to reconnect if only for a short time, He seemed always happy to hear from me and I will cherish the "kiddo",it made me feel special . Gone to soon.”
