It is with sadness that the passing of Ida Della Penna (Ottawa, Ontario) is shared. Ida passed away on September 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Ida will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Ida by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Ida is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Ida’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Pasquale. She is survived by: her son Vince (Evelyn); her granddaughter Anna (Nick); and her great grandchild Selina. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cole Funeral Services & Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pinecrest Chapel. An entombment will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9). A reception will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Cole Funeral Services & Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9).
