James Farbar Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 2, 2025, James Farbar (Ottawa, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Irene Cadieux; his siblings, Joyce (Jim Taylor) and Mike (Alice); his nieces and nephews, Jamie (Keli), Jennifer (Stian), Mandy (Alan) and Troy (late Angie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacob, Emma and Oskar.
