He is survived by: his wife Gail Virgin (McAlpine); his children, Pamela Gail Steeves (Dean), Nancy Elizabeth Virgin (Phil Lee) and Robert Douglas Virgin (Debbie); his brothers, William Dale Virgin (Barbara) and Douglas John Virgin (Valorie); his grandsons, Brad Steeves and Craig Steeves (Joyce); his great grandchild Eleanor Steeves (Nora); his grandchildren, Alysha Lee, Gavin Lee, Bryan and Chris Surette; his great grandchild Camille Surette; and his grandchildren, Isabel and Zachary.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Billberry Creek Baptist Church would be most welcome.
