He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Wowk; his parents, Roland and Helena (Rose); his brothers, Bob (late Shirley), Jack and Frank; and his siblings-in-law, Nestor and Cressa.
He is survived by: his children, Debra (Johnny), Denise (Tim), David (Katherine) and Joseph (Anne); his grandchildren, Kyle (Natasha), Ashley (Barrie), Lauren (Desi), Timothy (Trish), Katie (Dave), Christopher, Justin, Michael (Amei) and Kiera; his great grandchildren, Finn, Charlie, Winnie (Kyle), Indie, Leo (Katie), Olivia, Tiana (Barrie) and Scotlyn (Lauren); and his siblings-in-law, Harriet, Nancy Lawrence and Raymond Wowk (Janet). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice Centre, 110 McCurdy Dr., Kanata, On K2L 2Z6 or to U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre) would be appreciated by the family.
