She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fortais and Betty Fortais (Stevens); her brother Chuck Fortais; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Blewett (late Ruth) and Jean Hakka (late Ray).
She is survived by: her husband Howard; her daughters, Cyndy Recker (Brad) and Lisa McClain (Bill); and her grandchildren, Billy, Charlie McClain, Hilary and Justin Recker.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd. (138 Daniel St N, Arnprior, ON K7S2L3).
