We announce the death of Jo-Anne (Henderson) Patricia Scaffidi (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her mother Vivian Henderson. She is survived by: her husband Carmelo; her grandchildren, Vivi and David; her father Derrill Henderson; her sister Gail (Reg Angel); her siblings-in-law, Gino (Anne Lavoy), Teresa (Tony Leone), Zia Jo-Anne, Giannino, Dante, Anita and Nicolina; and her close friend Wendy Hunt.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Tubman Funeral Homes, Westboro Chapel (403 Richmond Rd, Ashton, ON K0A1B0).
The funeral will be held at Christ Church Cathedral, 414 Sparks Street, on Wednesday, October 7, at 1:30 p.m. In memory of Jo-Anne and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brain Tumour Foundation (http://braintumour.ca) of Canada in support of a post-secondary scholarship for music education.
