He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Plunkett and Mary Plunkett (Bradley); and his siblings, Terence, Cyrus, Margaret and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred (McLaughlin); his children, Sandra, Lynn and Scott; his grandchildren, Brady and Allie; and his sister Teresa.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shields Funeral Homes & Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Maurice's Church (4 Perry St, Ottawa, ON K2G1K5). A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the St. Martin's Cemetery (271 Chem. Martindale, QC J0X 2C0).
