He was predeceased by : his wife Margaret Doris Acton; his son Robert; and his parents, Desire Joseph Comeau and Marie Antoinette Saulnier. He is survived by : his children, Linda, John (Cathy), Elaine (Claude Ouellette), Peter (Angie Pasaden), Sheila Zerr (Philip), Michael and David (Nancy); his grandchildren, Christine (Gio Peralta), Robert (Donna McTeague), Tianna Shivkumar, Haley Zerr, Jenica Shivkumar, Kelsey, Owen Zerr, Dawson, Shayna Shivkumar, Rylee, Ryan and Evan; his great grandchildren, Zachary and Roman Peralta; and his siblings, Edmond (Louise), Louis (Clarice), Roy (Norah), Jeanette Connolly (John), Sarah, Jeanne Fortin (Bobby), Cecil (Irene) and Gerald.

For those who wish memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
