We bid farewell to John G. Kersley (Ottawa, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 3, 2025 at the age of 79. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Kersley and Jack Kersley; his daughter Laurie Kersley; and his sister Linda Woods. He is survived by: his wife Trudi Robillard; his sons, Mike (Katie) and Rob Kersley (Deb); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Caleb, Matt and Emma; his stepchildren, Tony and Kirsten (Jason); his stepgrandchild Melina; his stepson Rolf (Antonella); and his brother-in-law Dan Woods (Kathy).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
